Have you ever found yourself 9k into a half marathon and negative thoughts flood your brain? It almost becomes impossible to finish.

Why is it that when we are happy/excited our energy is endless, we feel strong, we experience less pain!

But when we feel sad or stressed our energy is low, we feel weak and fatigued, pain is enhanced.

Our emotions do not just affect the brain, it also dictates nervous system performance which is responsible for every muscle contraction and gaseous exchange.

Filling your mind with positive thoughts can instantly change your entire physiology. Next time you find yourself on a run/walk/bike ride or even just in the gym, think of something you love to find the energy/strength to continue!
